We are delighted to hear that two major projects involving Timberplay Scotland have been nominated for a prestigious Pineapple Award. Glasgow Science Centre and The Claypits are both up for Public Space awards after incredible work by Landscape Architect firms; Austin-Smith:Lord and LUC respectively.
Glasgow Science Centre is a unique pathway network for pedestrians and cyclists to explore, featuring play exhibits that promote sensory engagement. The space is widely used by commuters, visitors to the centre and the general public with chances to experiment with sound, movement, touch and much more.

The Claypits, part of Scottish Canals development, is a large post-industrial site that follows the canal and links the North of Glasgow with the city centre. The nature reserve has changed derelict and vacant land into a green space for the public to enjoy, including Timberplay's longest slide in the UK, offering playfulness to the site.

More information about the projects will be presented at the Festival of Place between the 23rd-27th of May, and the winners are set to be announced on the 6th of July.
